Pee Wee White Sabres bruise the Bruins, 11-3 The Pee White Sabres kept their unbeaten streak alive as Dominic Cinelli, with four goals and an assist, charged through and took it to the Bruins Saturday night. Blake Carson was great in goal for the White Sabres, only allowing three goals. It was a total team effort by the White Sabres, as they were playing with a short bench for the evening. Scoring for the Sabres were Cinelli (four goals, assist), Max Fenter (two goals, two assists), Adam Russell (two goals, assist), Dylan Scinta (three goals, two assists), Kyle Zurak, Nick Carrubba, and Gabe Feuerstein (assist each). The game was a very physical one and the penalty boxes were busy as both teams wracked up a total of 27 minutes in penalties. Defensive play was huge for the White Sabres as the Bruins were not giving up and kept coming, trying to get back in the game. The White Sabres' Tyler Casselman and John Moore were aggressive in their play as they fought for the puck and kept the rout alive. Brendan Mazurek played solid defense, although he sat out the third after receiving a check to the head in the second. |
