The Audubon Men's Golf Club is looking for new members.

Joining the club enables a golfer to compete in weekly tournaments with four major weekend events (family picnics and stags). There are script/money payoffs for every weekend tournament. A computer will keep record of scores with one's handicap for Audubon and away courses. Trophies will be awarded to winning golfers.

The club's first stag is on April 20 at the Hearthstone Manor, 333 Dick Road, Depew.

Amherst Central's Willie Jones hit 6-7 in the high jump on Feb. 3 at Fredonia State College. The leap qualifies him for the Nike Indoor Nationals in March. At the team championships last Saturday at Fredonia State College, Jones won the high jump (6-6) and Brenna Symoniak placed first in the 3000 (10:51).

Freshman Katie Niblock scored the only point for the Sweet Home girls indoor track team at last Saturday's team championships at Fredonia State College by placing sixth in the 2-mile.

The Sweet Home boys scored 20 points. Jacob Hagen finished fourth in the 1600 and sixth in the 1000. Ryan Poley was sixth in the 600. Andrew Hopkins placed second in the shot put.

The boys' 4x800 relay team of Ryan Hughson, Mike Bakowski, Poley, and Hagen finished third.
