The Rev. Joseph D. Popiglia has been appointed pastor of St. Benedict Parish in Eggertsville by Bishop Edward Kmiec. Rev. Popiglia has served in the Iraqi war, was pastor of Holy Cross and St. Patrick parishes in Salamanca, N.Y. and has previously served as parochial vicar of Nativity of Our Lord Parish in Orchard Park.
