St. Gregory the Great to hold Lenten evening

St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church will hold a special event, titled "A Lenten Evening" at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 1 at 200 St. Gregory Court, Williamsville.

Lent is a six-week period of prayer, fasting, almsgiving and penance in preparation for Easter. The event will feature The Rev. Joseph Gatto, a noted speaker who graduated from the Gregorian University in Rome in 1994. For more information, call 688-5678 or visit www.stgregs.org.
