The National Federation for Just Communities of WNY recently honored Amherst residents Dr. Jeffrey Meilman, Hope for Tomorrow Foundation founder; Robert P. Fine, Hurwitz and Fine, P.C. president and Rich Newberg, WIVB senior correspondent.

The Children's Guild Foundation Inc. elected new officers: Treasurer Robert L. Lupica and Secretary Wendy T. Stahlka, are both of Williamsville. Directors named to a three-year term are Keith W. Frome of Amherst and Albert J. Wright III of Snyder.
