EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR - Andrew J. Mattle of Williamsville has been named the executive director of the Joan A. Male Family Support Center. He is a licensed NYS Mental Health Therapist and has 15 years' experience at AIDS Community Services Inc. Mattle also served on the board of directors for the Regional AIDS Interfaith Network and the Mental Health Association of Erie County. BOARD MEMBER - Rajat R. Shah, senior vice president of corporate development, Seneca Gaming Corporation and resident of Williamsville, has been appointed to serve on the Board of Directors for the Women and Children's Hospital of Buffalo Foundation. Prior to moving to Wester New York, Shah was involved in supporting the Children's National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. PUBLISHED - Attorney Michael M. Chelus of Amherst recently co-authored two chapters of the New York State Bar Association's newly published Second Edition of Insurance Law Practice, 2006. An attorney with Chelus, Herdzik, Speyer, Monte & Pajak, P.C., he was one of 50 members to work on the piece. Chelus is a delegate at large for the Federation of Italian American Societies of Western New York. AWARD HONOREE - Joseph M. Marris, a partner with Phillips Lytle LLP, a full-service law firm, recently received the Supporting Trustee award from the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at the society's annual recognition reception. He has served on the Board of Trustees for the past four years and currently serves as Chapter president of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, WNY and Finger Lakes Chapter. BOARD MEMBER - Melinda Rath Sanderson of Amherst, executive director of the Canisius College Women's Business Center, has been elected to the Board of Directors for the Association of Women's Business Centers. Sanderson directed her own hotel and real estate consulting practice. She also serves on the boards of the Amherst Chamber of Commerce and Erie Niagara Regional Partnership.
