David William McDuff, 58, of Williamsville, died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2007, at Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
Born in Buffalo, Mr. McDuff was founder, CEO and president of Classifieds Plus Inc., which employs over 200 area residents. He was a former co-publisher of Buffalo Spree magazine, founded numerous local businesses, and was named Citizen of the Year in 1997 by the Buffalo News.
Mr. McDuff is survived by his former wife, Maureen, of Wheatfield; a son, Patrick, of Tonawanda; a sister, Heather Cassellbery, of Charlotte, N.C.; and a brother, Denis, of Raleigh, N.C.
Services were held Friday, Jan. 26 at St. Paul Lutheran Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Irish Classical Theatre, Educational Outreach Program, 625 Main Street, Buffalo 14203, where he served on the Board of Directors, or to the Paintbox Project at Roswell Park Alliance Foundation, P.O. Box 1566, Buffalo 14240-9856, which he and Classifieds Plus supported with an annual fund-raising program.
