Mary M. Organ, 90, formerly of Williamsville, died Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2007, in West Jefferson, Ohio.

Born in Dunkirk, she lived in Williamsville for 30 years before moving to West Jefferson in 2004.
After working in the professors dining room at the University at Buffalo, she volunteered at the VA Hospital, then for 25 years in the ceramic and dining rooms at the Amherst Senior Center on Union Road.
She was active in groups at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Williamsville for many years.
She loved pinochle and ceramics.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Joseph Jarvis and Thomas Pomeroy.
Mrs. Organ is survived by two sons, Henry Jarvis of Orlando, Fla. and Paul Jarvis of Plain City, Ohio; two daughters, Rose Sivick of Cheektowaga and Joan Denes of West Jefferson, Ohio; a sister, Dorothy Goretti of Williamsville; 11 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
A Catholic burial was held Jan. 15 in West Jefferson, Ohio.
