Scott Alan Minbiole, 29, of Stephens City, Va., formerly of Williamsville, died Monday, Jan. 22, 2007.

Born in Williamsville, Mr. Minbiole attended Williamsville North High School, graduating in 1995. At North, he played the tuba in concert band and was a member of the soccer team. He also belonged to the St. Pius CYO.

Mr. Minbiole received a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University at Buffalo, Honors College, and a master's degree in counseling from Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, Va.

He was a guidance counselor at Warren County High School located in Front Royal, Va.

Mr. Minbiole is survived by his wife, Stephanie Lanpher, and a daughter, Kristen Martelle, both of Stephens City, Va.; his parents, Barry and Susan M., of East Amherst; and two sisters, Lynda and Marianne, both of East Amherst.

A remembrance Mass will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Feb. 5 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 6919 Transit Rd., Swormville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kristen Martelle Minbiole College Fund, c/o Omps Funeral Home, 1600 Amherst St., Winchester, VA 22601.
