Free winter vacation guide takes chill out of winter

Looking for something special to do during the winter months? Check out the 2006-07 New York State Winter Travel Guide. The full-color, magazine-format guide is available free of charge from Assemblyman Jim Hayes, R-Amherst.

One section lists more than 100 special events across the state, from now through March. Along with important information about snowmobiling safety and the best places to go to enjoy this popular winter activity. For skiers - downhill or cross country - there is information which pinpoints ski centers by region.
