American Red Cross announces new course schedules

The American Red Cross Greater Buffalo Chapter has made available its latest community course schedules.

"For 100 years, the American Red Cross has been assisting people in leading safe and healthy lives," said executive director Nancy M. Blaschak. "Our nationally recognized courses are constantly being reviewed and revisited to offer the most up-to-date lifesaving skills."

The schedule is posted at the Web site buffaloredcross.org. Schedules are also available by calling 878-2387.

"We've made it even easier to find the courses you need," said Blaschak. "Browse through our course schedule and pick the time and location most convenient for you."

Those interested in registering for a course can also do so in person at the Greater Buffalo Chapter, 786 Delaware Ave. The chapter is open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Several classes offered are available to members of Community Blue. Members of Independent Health can receive a $10 discount.
