Maria Kouvoutsakis and Jason Jarnot

Donna and Paul Kouvoutsakis of Lancaster announce the engagement of their daughter, Maria Kouvoutsakis, to Jason Jarnot, son of Beverly and Raymond Jarnot, also of Lancaster.

Miss Kouvoutsakis is a 2000 graduate of Depew High School. She received her bachelor's degree in early childhood education from Canisius College in 2006. She plans to open a preschool.

Her fiance is a 1999 graduate of Lancaster High School. He received his bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Canisius College in 2003. He is an Erie County deputy sheriff.

A July 2007 wedding is planned at the Hellenic Orthodox Church of the Annunciation in Buffalo with a reception at the Adam's Mark Hotel.
