Mark E. Jann and Anne K. Simonson

Kathleen A. Simonson of Amherst and Randall D. Simonson of Williamsville announce the engagement of their daughter, Anne K. Simonson, to Mark E. Jann, son of Barbara A. and Earl L. Jann Jr. of West Falls, N.Y.

Miss Simonson is a 1994 Sweet Home High School graduate. She earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from the University at Buffalo in 1998. She received her master's degree in school counseling from the University at Buffalo in 2001. She is a school counselor.

Her fiance is a 1993 St. Francis High School graduate. He received his bachelor's degree in political science from Canisius College in 1997. He is an officer with U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

A July 2007 wedding is planned at Christ the King Chapel at Canisius College with a reception at the Delaware Park Casino.
