Couple marries in afternoon ceremony

Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Jar not
Tanya Camilleri married Nicholas Jarnot in an afternoon ceremony on Friday, Sept. 8, 2006 at Ss. Peter and Paul Church in Depew. The Rev. Stanley Nowak officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Jeannie and Joseph Camilleri of Welland, Ontario. The groom is the son of Beverly and Raymond Jarnot of Lancaster.

The bride was escorted by her father.

She wore a champagne-colored strapless Marisa silk and satin gown and a scalloped, two-tiered veil accented with crystal beading. She also wore heirloom hairpins from her mother's wedding day. She carried ivory and peach calla lilies.

The maid of honor was Amber Alabakopoulos, friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Tera and Vanessa Camilleri, sisters of the bride; Angela Jarnot, sister of the groom; and Wendy Citrignom and Lisa Santomaggio, friends of the bride.

The best man was Jason Jarnot, brother of the groom. The ushers were Joseph Camilleri, brother of the bride, and Sean O'Neil, Mike and Tom Lewandowski, and Brian Smolinski, friends of the groom.

A reception was held at the Creekside Banquet Facility in Cheektowaga.

After a honeymoon in Maui, the couple reside in Lancaster.
