Announcements + Applications are now being accepted for drama classes at the Ghostlight Theatre, 170 Schenck St., North Tonawanda. Classes will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday mornings beginning Feb. 17. There are 20 positions available in the children's section, ages 10 to 12, taught by Debby Koszelak Swartz; 20 positions in the teen section, taught by Vanessa Stipkovits; and 10 positions for the advanced adult section taught by Jesse Swartz. The students will be featured in a recital at 8 p.m. April 28 at the Ghostlight Theatre. + The application deadline for Squeaky Wheel's "Channels - Stories from the Niagara Frontier" is Friday, Feb. 2. The program matches documentary filmmakers with grass roots initiatives and groups to document cultural and social movements that significantly impact the Buffalo region, but are underreported by mainstream media. Filmmakers and cultural groups can apply to participate.
