Scholarships available for musicians

The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra Volunteer Foundation and the Buffalo Chamber Music Society have again combined their application and audition process for their independent 2007 scholarships. The Volunteer Foundation "Eleanor V. Millonzi" will award $5,000 and $1,000 scholarships, partially funded by the Ralph C. Wilson Foundation, and the Chamber Music Society's "Silverman." Scholarships amounting in $1,000 are available for Erie and Niagara County high school seniors planning to major in music at any college or university in the fall of 2007.
