Physicians join Buffalo Medical Group

Buffalo Medical Group has announced that Dr. Gurpreet Dhaliwal, M.D., a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology, and Dr. Xinyue Liu-Chen, M.D., Ph.D., a family practice specialist, joined its staff on Jan. 15.
Dr. Dhaliwal is a native of India, where she earned her medical degree at Punjab University's Government Medical College. She completed a family practice residency at the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital and her OB/GYN residency at UB and Sisters of Charity Hospital.
Dr. Dhaliwal is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Buffalo Obstetrics and Gynecology Society, and Sisters of Charity Hospital Medical Staff. Her office is located at 6245 Sheridan Drive, Williamsville.
A native of China, Dr. Liu-Chen earned her medical degree at Beijing Medical University and was awarded a Ph.D. at Cornell University Medical College, an affiliate of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.
She completed a family practice residency at Guthrie Clinic/Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, Pa., and is board-certified in family medicine and geriatric medicine.

Most recently an attending physician and practice administrator at Generations Family Health Center in Danielson, Conn., Dr. Liu-Chen has authored or co-authored several journal articles. She will see patients at the 85 High Street location in Buffalo.
