Sports brief

The Star Swim Team will be hosting registration and tryouts for preschool, elementary, middle school and high school age swimmers at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30 at Frontier Middle School, 5:15 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31 at Erie Community College South Campus Building No. 6, and at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 1 at the Erie Community College Flickinger Center. Pre-registration is not necessary. All Star Swimming coaches are certified through the United States Swimming Association in addition to their Red Cross Lifeguarding, CPR, and AED training.
