East boys even record to 4-4 Williamsville East evened its record to 4-4 with wins over Jamestown, 111-59, and West Seneca West, 71-25, last week. Neil Batta, Matt Geiger and Mike Anderson were all double winners against Jamestown last Wednesday at Transit Middle School. Batta won the 200-yard freestyle (155.26) and 100 back (101.20). Geiger took home first in the 200 IM (211.69) and 100 breast (114.84). Anderson won the 50 free (25.10) and 500 free (517.00). Kane Hsieh was tops in the 100 free (55.90). Joe O'Gorman continues to set personal bests in diving. Against West, he swam a score of 206.90. Other East winners against West were Thomas Mitchell (500 free, 544.29) and Brad Kim (100 breast, 116.74). All three East relays won. The 400 free of Anderson, Batta, Hsieh and Geiger won the 400 free in 336.32. East hosts Sweet Home on Wednesday and West Seneca East on Friday at Transit Middle School. Both meets start at 6 p.m. |
