HEAP clinic to be held Jan. 25 at town hall

Applications will be accepted for the federally funded Home Energy Assistance Program from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday Jan. 25, in the Council Chambers of the Amherst Town Hall, 5583 Main St. Williamsville.

HEAP is guaranteeing service to the first 80 applicants. The doors open at 7 a.m.

"Applicants must bring proof of income for the past month, social security cards or other iAFdentification papers for all persons living in the home, their most recent heating bill, the electric bill, any shut off notices and proof of resources like savings accounts or IRA's," County Legislator Dr. Barry Weinstein said.
