Super Grover is ready for action

Super Grover and all his fun and furry friends are bringing a healthy new show to Buffalo when Sesame Street Live "Super Grover! Ready for Action" comes to Shea's Performing Arts Center, Jan. 31-Feb. 4.

What happens when Super Grover loses his superness? The Fabulous Five come to the rescue in Sesame Street Live "Super Grover! Ready for Action."

Sesame Street needs a hero, and Elmo, Zoe, Rosita, Telly Monster and Zoe's pet rock Rocco leap into action, working to put the "super" back in Super Grov er.

Teaching lessons of healthy habits through song and dance, favorite "Sesame Street" characters will explore exercise, nutrition, sleep/energy and hygiene - all in the quest to get Super Grover ready for action. The cast also includes Bert, Ernie, Big Bird, Oscar, Cookie Monster, Count Von Count, Baby Bear, Prairie Dawn, Roxy Marie, Lulu and Honker.

Performances are at 7 p.m. Jan. 31; 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. Feb. 1 and 2; 10:30 a.m., 2 and 5:30 p.m. Feb. 3; and 1 and 4:30 p.m. Feb. 4 at 646 Main St., Buffalo.
