      Louis A. Zon, 87, of East Amherst, co-owner of Ziggy & Zon's World, died Friday, Jan. 12, 2007, in DeGraff Hospital, North Tonawanda. Born in Buffalo, he started as a huckster on the streets of Black Rock at age 17. He was also a Hall's Baker deliveryman and a Prudential Insurance Co. salesman.

      Philip J. Soisson, a former freelance sports writer for Bee Group Newspapers, died Friday, Jan. 19, 2007, in Kenmore Mercy Hospital. Mr. Soisson, 83, of the Town of Tonawanda, began his Buffalo broadcasting career with WBEN in 1953. He later worked as a news and sports anchor with WGR.
