Sweet Home keglers drop first match of season

West Seneca East's boys bowling team knocked Sweet Home out of the unbeaten ranks with a 5-2 home win last Wednesday at Wimbledon Lanes.

Ryan Kaminski led Sweet Home with a 640 set. Kaminski was very consistent, rolling games of 223, 204, and 213. Aaron Klein shot (211-593), Peter Schaefer (245-586) and Bill Klein (203) also rolled for the Panthers.

Sweet Home (4-1) bowls Hamburg at 4 p.m. on Wednesday at Manor II Lanes.

Williamsville South boys

The Williamsville South boys bowling team defeated Iroquois, 5-2, last Wednesday at Lancaster Lanes.

Alex Petrie had a 643 series and high game 228 to lead the "A" team and Tony Cirbus had a 204 and 552 series to lead the "B" team.

The Billies record stands at 5 and 2 on the season in a tough ECIC Division II race.

Petrie leads South bowlers for the season with over a 205 average, good for top five in the division. Russ Scheiss has a high game of 268, which ties for first place in ECIC II.
