The Level 5 girls from Stumpf's Gymnastics Center had a strong showing at the Graffiti Invitational hosted by Flips Gymnastics of Lockport.

The three-day event took place at the Niagara Falls Conference Center and included teams from across New York State, as well from Pennsylvania, Ohio and Michigan. The event saw nearly a thousand gymnasts and their families pass though Western New York.

The Stumpf's Level 5 girls competed against 90 gymnasts from 14 different teams. In addition to placing five girls on the all-around podium, the squad was awarded fifth place as a team, and each teammate won at least one ribbon in the event finals.

The squad was led by Snyder's Lacey Woite, who scored a team-high 35.375 all-around and earned a fifth place ribbon in the 7-9-year-old division. In the event finals, Woite's strong 9.100 on uneven bars was awarded fourth place. Additionally, Woite earned ribbons on vault (fifth) and floor exercise (10th). Allison Scumaci of Williamsville finished sixth all-around and was the only Stumpf's teammate to earn ribbons on each event. Scumaci earned seventh on vault, eighth on balance beam and floor, and 10th on uneven bars.

Miranda Roberson, also of Williamsville, placed eighth in all-around competition and earned ribbons for fifth place on floor exercise and 11th on uneven bars. Roberson's performance was highlighted by a rock solid beam routine, which scored a 9.325 and earned third place.

Getzville's Rebecca Reinhardt earned an 11th place ribbon in all-around competition as well as on floor. Reinhardt's highest score was on uneven bars, where she scored an 8.950 and earned fifth place. Teammate Mackenzie Donner of Lancaster also had a solid showing on uneven bars, earning an 8.500 and a seventh place ribbon.

Eggertsville's Katie Uba executed a beautiful floor exercise routine, which scored a 9.000 and earned a third place ribbon.

Kaily Martens of Cheektowaga competed in the 10-year-old division and earned sixth place in all-around competition. Martens also earned ribbons for ninth on uneven bars and eighth on beam. Martens also scored a team-high 9.025 on floor and was awarded fifth place. Teammate Christina Smith, of Williamsville, competed in the 12-and-over division and won a ninth place ribbon on the vault with a solid 8.650.

Martens, Scumaci, Smith and Woite will represent Level 5 Stumpf's at the Daytona Beach Open in Florida on Feb. 2.
