Couple celebrates 50 years

Mr. and Mrs. Gene Dudas

Gene and Maryann Dudas, of Lancaster, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Nov. 22, 2006.

Gene Dudas married the former Maryann Douglas at St. Mary's of the Assumption Church in Lancaster, where they continue to be members.

Gene is a retired union carpenter, and Maryann is retired from M&T Bank. They enjoy golfing, boating and traveling.

The couple celebrated with a family vacation at the Peek'n Peak resort and a gathering of friends and family in their daughter's home.

They have seven children and 16 grandchildren.
