Karin A. Crumb and Shawn T. Kosmala

Susan and Charles Crumb of Sherburne, N.Y., announce the engagement of their daughter, Karin A. Crumb, to Shawn T. Kosmala, son of Larry Kosmala of Cheektowaga.

Miss Crumb is a 1998 graduate of Sherburne-Earlville Central School. She received her bachelor's degree in interior design in 2002 and her master's degree in art education in 2003, both from the Rochester Institute of Technology. She is a facility designer and drafter at Niagara University.

Her fiance is a 1993 graduate of West Seneca East High School. He received his associate degree in illustration from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 1995. He received his bachelor's degree in 1999 and his master's degree in 2001, both in fine arts from the Rochester Institute of Technology. He is an art teacher at the School of the Arts in Rochester.

An August 2007 wedding is planned at the Delaware Park Rose Garden in Buffalo with a reception at Beaver Island Clubhouse on Grand Island.
