Ann Elizabeth Burden married Timothy Joseph Gattie in an evening ceremony Friday, Sept. 22, 2006 in the garden and terrace of the Grande Colonial Hotel in La Jolla, Calif. The Rev. Jason Burden, brother of the bride, officiated.
The bride, who graduated from high school in Texas and attended Baylor University, is the daughter of the late Susan Knudson Burden. The groom, a graduate of West Seneca East High School and the University of Pittsburgh, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Gattie of Estill Springs, Tenn.

She carried a hand-held round bouquet of Bianca Candy, Vandela and Sahara roses in shades of cream, blush and pale pink.
The bridesmaids were Jana Knudson Anders, cousin of the bride, and Beth Gattie Lemmons, sister of the groom.
The ushers were Dr. Daniel Gibson and Nick Greco, friends of the groom.
