Legislator helped those he served

It was with genuine sadness that I read of Dr. Barry Weinstein's retirement from the Erie County Legislature. Dr. Barry has been a great representative and advocate for Amherst. As a senior citizen, I have been helped with several issues through his office. I have always found Dr. Barry's staff to be the most responsive in government. I know many seniors who feel he has been very helpful to us and concerned about our future. He was a rock during the budget crisis.

I want to thank Legislator Weinstein and his staff for his exceptional public service and commitment to excellence in government. Your shoes will be hard to fill.
