Temple Beth Zion to host education course

Temple Beth Zion will host open classes from noon to 1:30 p.m. Wednesdays at 700 Sweet Home Road in Amherst.

The classes will explore the world's major religious traditions and examine the ideas, symbols and great men and women of them, then compare it with Judaism.

The following topics will be discussed Jan. 17, Christianity; Jan. 24, Islam; Jan. 31, Hinduism; Jan. 31, Buddhism; Feb. 7, Buddhism; Feb. 14, Judaism redux.
