Louis A. Zon, co-founder of Ziggy & Zon's World
      Louis A. Zon, 87, of East Amherst, co-owner of Ziggy & Zon's World, died Friday, Jan. 12, 2006, in DeGraff Hospital, North Tonawanda. Born in Buffalo, he started as a huckster on the streets of Black Rock at age 17. He was also a Hall's Baker deliveryman and a Prudential Insurance Co. salesman.

      John T. Cavagnaro, 19, Williamsville North hockey's all-time leading scorer in league play for defensemen, died in his sleep at his Getzville home on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2007. Mr. Cavagnaro played four years for North, finishing league play with 40 points (six goals, 34 assists).
