Sweet Home keglers burn Flames

The Sweet Home varsity boys bowling team crushed Williamsville East by over 1,000 pins to win 7-0, at Manor II on Monday.

Leading the Panthers was Aaron Klein with games of 240, 215, and 226 for a 681 set. Not far behind Klein was Ryan Kaminski with a 679 set. Kaminski had games of 230, 217, and 232.

Peter Schaefer had games of 214, 219, and 201 for a 634 set. Brian Barnas had a 630 set with games of 230, 208 and 192.

Other high scores were rolled by Jonathan LoPresti (235, 221) John Grunzweig (215, 213, 583 total), captain Dan Kaminski (201) and Shaun Louis (200).

Williamsville South 3

Sweet Home defeated Williamsville South for the second time this season, 4-3, on Jan. 3 at Manor II Lanes.

Tied at 2-2 going into the last game, the Sweet Home "B" team shot 782 for the win and to capture total pins.

Leading the Panthers was Aaron Klein with a 612 set. Klein was consistent with games of 199, 211, and 202.

Captain Dan Kaminski rolled 222 and 205 for a 590 set. Other high games were rolled by Peter Schaefer (210) and Bill Klein (203).

Alex Petrie led South with a 247 high game and 631 set. Colin Ballou added a 235 high game and 609 set. Adam Petrie had a 219 and 601 set. Russ Scheiss rolled a 206 and 580 set. Tony Cirbus had a 223.

Sweet Home (3-1) bowls West Seneca East at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Wimbledon Lanes.
