Robin Adair, 83, formerly of Williamsville, a retired casket salesman and World War II veteran, died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007, at Greenville Memorial Medical Center in Greenville, S.C.
Born in LeRoy, N.Y., he graduated from Williamsville High School in 1941 where he was a distinguished baseball and football player. He was a United States Marine veteran, having served in the Pacific Theatre during World War II.
Mr. Adair was retired from Central Casket Company and Landrum Casket Company where he was a salesman. He moved to South Carolina in 1982. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Greenville.
Mr. Adair is survived by his wife, the former Virginia Seitz; five daughters, Susan A. of Spring Hill, Fla.; Sally L. of Cortland, N.Y.; Christine R. Hicks-Usta of East Amherst; Elizabeth H. of Arlington, Va.; and Robin Jo of Lexington, Ky.; two sisters, Barbara Goodman of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. and Eleanor Adair of Little River, S.C.; and seven grandchildren;

A memorial service will be held at a date and time to be determined at a later date.
