Emergency team training scheduled

Community Emergency Response Team training will be offered this month by the Town of Amherst.

The basic CERT training program is a 20-hour course divided into nine sessions including both academic and hands-on instruction. It is designed to enhance individual and community readiness in the event of natural or manmade disasters and emergencies.
