PRESTIGIOUS AWARD
Martin J. Bauer of Amherst, center, recently received a plaque as a Melvin Jones Fellow - the highest award given by the Lions Club International Foundation - from Gary Greenwood, a past district governor of the Lions, as his wife and Amherst Lions president Mary Sue Bauer looked on at Dandelions Restaurant. The award is named after the founder of the Lions, now the world's largest humanitarian service organization. Bauer is a past president of the Amherst Lions.
