Erin Magner and Kevin Gentile

Donna and Richard Magner of Glastonbury, Conn., announce the engagement of their daughter, Erin Magner, to Kevin Gentile, son of Mary and Joseph Gentile of Williamsville.

Miss Magner is a 1998 Glastonbury High School graduate and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and communication from Canisius College in 2002 and her master's degree in counseling and human services, also from Canisius, in 2004. She is a school counselor at Windsor High School in Windsor, Conn.

Her fiance graduated in 1997 from St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute and received his biology and pre-medicine degree from Canisius College in 2001. He received his doctor of medicine degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2005. He is an emergency medicine resident at Bay State Medical Center in Springfield, Mass.

A September 2007 wedding is planned at Christ the King Chapel with a reception at Harry's Harbour Place.
