A Musical Feast

A delectable delight for the ears will be provided by Charles Castleman, Charles Haupt, Cheryl Gobbetti-Hoffman and others during A Musical Feast at the Kavinoky Theatre.
Charles Haupt, former concertmaster of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, has once again gathered some of the world's best musicians for A Musical Feast: Concert Three at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16 at the Kavinoky Theatre.

In this third installment, the concert will feature Haupt and Feng Hew, associate principal cellist with the BPO performing Kodaly's "Duo for Violin and Cello, Op. 7."

Other performers include percussionist Tom Kolor in "Rebound" by Xenaxis; Tony Arnold, soprano, and Cheryl Gobbetti Hoffman, flute, joining Kolor in John Cage's "Music for ....."; Gobbetti-Hoffman playing "Voice" by Toru Takemistu; Charles Castleman performing the Buffalo premiere of Violin Sonata No. 2 by Mieczyslaw Weinberg; and Arnold and Gobbetti Hoffman in "Primavera, Spring" by Thea Musgrave.
