South hockey picks up emotional tie with East

Amherst rebounds with home league win

      Amherst Central shrugged off a 61-48 non-league home loss against Clarence last Wednesday with a 61-49 home win over Iroquois on Friday. Amherst did not shoot well in either game, hitting 27 percent in the first half against Clarence and 26 percent overall versus Iroquois.
