AAA to offer driver

education classes

AAA Western and Central New York will present a 2007 winter session “Licensed to Learn” driver education class on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. The class will be held at the travel and insurance center, 100 International Drive in Amherst. The first session is slated to run from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, and ends Tuesday, Feb. 13. In addition, class participants will be required to attend one five-hour Sunday classroom session from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Jan. 28 or Feb. 11. SOS recovery group

meets Tuesdays

The Amherst chapter of Secular Organizations for Sobriety meets at 7:30 p.m. Tuesdays at the Center for Inquiry, 1310 Sweet Home Road. Save Our Selves is a nonprofit network of local groups dedicated to helping individuals achieve and maintain sobriety.
