HILL, Rita M. (nee Gallagher), of Amherst, died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2006; mother of Suzan Everett, Joseph A. Hill and Mary M. Hill; sister of Janet Johnson, Desmond Gallagher, Skip Gallagher, Michael Gallagher and John Gallagher; also survived by nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Wednesday, Dec. 27, at St. Leo the Great Church. Arrangements were made by the Harry A. Wedekindt Funeral Home.

SHEPARD, Kathleen (nee McMahon), of Williamsville and Longboat Key, Fla., died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006; wife of the late Richard C.; sister of Patricia Sullivan, Neil McMahon, Terrence McMahon, Joyce Scherer, and Kenneth McMahon. Services were private. Arrangements were made by the Harry A. Wedekindt Funeral Home.

WECHTER, Herbert L., of Amherst, died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006; husband of Othelia E.; father of Marlene A. Clawson and Deborah J. Frank; also survived by a grandchild. Services were held Saturday, Dec. 30 at St. Benedict’s Church. Arrangements were made by the Harry A. Wedekindt Funeral Home.
