Air Force Airman Michael A. Cartone graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Anthony Cartone Jr. of Getzville and Janet Cartone of Kenmore and is a 2003 graduate of St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute.

Cadet Lt. Col. Ian R. Osterreicher will assume command of the 157th Detachment of the United States Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corp at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Fl.
