THEATRE At a beautiful Dutchess County farmhouse, eight gay men hash out their passions, resentments and fears over the course of three summer weekends in Buffalo United Artists’ “Love! Valour! Compassion!” by Terrence McNally. The production opens Friday, Jan. 5, and runs through Jan. 27 at 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. In January 1996, BUA was the first company in the country to produce the play following its closing on Broadway in September of 1995. The production coincides with BUA’s 15th anniversary in January. BUA made its debut in January 1992 with the production “A ...My Name is Alice.” The winner of the 1995 Tony Award for Best Play, “Love! Valour! Compassion!” is directed by Javier Bustillos and features David Butler, Timothy Patrick Finnegan, Kurt Guba, Chris Kelly, Tim Klein, Andrew J. Liegl and Eric Rawski.
