MusicalFare Theatre to present world premiere

MusicalFare Theatre will present the world premiere of “Familiar Strangers,” featuring the songs of Joni Mitchell. beginning Jan. 10 through Feb. 11.

The production, written, directed and choreographed by Michael J. Walline, is part of the Jack Cullen New Musicals Series at MusicalFare. Music direction is by Michael G. Hake.

The story is told through dance and the music of Mitchell, featuring a cast of nine. “Familiar Strangers” tells the story of a woman who imagines relationships with the people she sees every day outside her window. These are people she sees and recognizes but has never met. The production stars Terrie George, Loraine

O’Donnell, Kelly Cammarata, Robert J. Cooke, Nicole Marrale Cimato, Christopher M. Howard, Marc Sacco, Kristy Schupp and Doug Weyand.

Performances are held at 7 p.m. Wednesdays, 7:30 p.m. Thursdays, 8 p.m. Fridays, 4 and 8 p.m. Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays. A special half-price preview will be offered at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9.

Tickets cost $28 Wednesday, Thursday, 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday performances and $32 for 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. All tickets are assigned. Call 839-8540 for tickets.
