The Geo. F. Lamm Post American Legion #622 will hold its February Beer Blast Dance and Taste of Wardynski Meats. Black History Month

Zonta Club of Amherst, in recognition of Black History Month, will host Daughters of Creative Sound at its meeting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27 at Fanny's Restaurant on Sheridan Drive in Amherst. Dinner begins at 6 p.m. and costs $22. The performers are a group of 11 African-American women who express the story of their African descent through vocal, visual and percussive instruments.
