Jerebko named Athletics Director

Peter Jerebko
Erie Community College has a new Athletics Director.

Peter Jerebko was hired as the school’s new AD, effective October 16.

Jerebko comes to ECC from Medaille College, where he served as director of campus center operations from 2003 to 2006. Previous to that, he served as director of athletics and head women’s basketball coach at Medaille from 1999 to 2003.

Prior to his stint at Medaille, Jerebko was athletic director and head men’s basketball coach at the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville from 1996 to 1999. He also served as an assistant basketball coach at Gannon University from 1993 to 1996 after spending three seasons on the staff of former ECC head coach John Beilein at Le Moyne College

from 1990 to 1993.

Jerebko was a starting player on the men’s basketball team at Le Moyne College from 1984 to 1988. He finished his career as the program’s fifth-leading scorer with 1,736 points and is also the all-time leader in field goal percentage and three-point shooting percentage. He was co-captain of the 1987-88 team that finished 24-6 and went to the NCAA national tournament.

Jerebko was inducted into the Gold Wave Hall of Fame in February 2004. The Gold Wave Hall of Fame was established to honor people affiliated with Le Moyne College who have exhibited a degree of accomplishment and who have distinguished themselves in their field.

He is a Depew resident where he lives with his wife, Lisa, and their two sons, Jakob and Jackson.
