FOOD DRIVE
Food Drive Coordinator Patrick Galvin, left to right, Amherst Highway Superintendent Robert Anderson, Amherst Highway Employee Association President Chris O’Neil and Eggertsville Fire Chief Mike Boehm complete the fire company’s annual food drive at the Eggertsville Hose Company Fire Hall. Food was collection on Dec. 13 and assisted more than 50 families in the Eggertsville area. Firefighters traveled door to door and a drop off was set up at the hall for the donations. This year’s program was enhanced by the partnerships with U-haul of Amherst and by Amherst Highway Department Employees Association. The food drive has been held for more than 25 years.
