Roswell Park Cancer Institute’s Stop Smoking Clinic may be just the help you need. The clinic will guide you through the quitting process and give you a free, two-week supply of nicotine patches to help increase your chances of staying smoke-free. The program includes three sessions held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Thursdays, Jan. 4, 11 and 18 in the Research Studies Center at the Roswell Park Cancer Institute, located at the corner of Elm and Carlton streets in Buffalo. Program participants will receive a stop-smoking booklet, information on withdrawal symptoms, weight control, a two-week supply of nicotine patches and tips on how to remain smoke free. The clinic fee of $10 is covered by Independent Health, Univera Healthcare, BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York and Community Blue. Clinic registration is limited. To register, call 845-8046.
