Elizabeth and Russell Hanny of Clarence announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine Marie Hanny, to Tyler Joseph Collins, son of Deborah and Joseph Collins of Hamburg.

Miss Hanny is a 2001 graduate of Clarence High School. She earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communications from St. Bonaventure University in 2005.

Her fiance is a 2000 graduate of Hamburg High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree in history from St. Bonaventure University in 2005. He will be attending Thomas Cooley Law School beginning in January 2007.

An August 2008 wedding at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church with a reception at Brookfield Country Club is planned.
