Police arrest suspects in credit union holdup, recover $70,000
      Amherst police arrested three male suspects after they allegedly held up the Boulevard Credit Union on Friday. Police were called to the credit union located at 2787 Niagara Falls Boulevard at 10:30 a.m. The three suspects had entered the credit union with clothing or masks covering their faces....

      The Amherst Town Board has set the dates for the 2007 meetings: Jan. 2 and 16, Feb. 5 and 26, March 5 and 19, April 2 and 16, May 7 and 21, June 4 and 18, July 2 and 16, Aug. 6 and 20, Sept. 4 and 17, Oct. 1 and 15, Nov. 5 and 19, and Dec. 3 and 17.

Clarence approves $400,000 sewer bill payment to Amherst
After months of Scrooge-like behavior, the towns of Clarence and Amherst have finally flushed their discrepancies over the town’s sewer bill. Whether it’s in the spirit of the season or not, the Town Board approved a motion, 5-0, to pay the Town of Amherst $400,000 in sewer dues. More...
