Three Scouts achieve Eagle Scout rank

Three Boy Scouts from Williamsville Boy Scout Troop # 85 have recently been honored with the rank of Eagle Scout. They are Matthew Gunther, Scott Perkins and Rene vanEe.

Matthew’s Eagle Scout Service Project was a musical lecture and performance for the students at Buffalo’s School 84.

Scott conducted restoration work at the Neumann Center on Main Street.

Rene initiated a successful food campaign to assist the Response To Love Center at St. Aldabert’s Church.

Troop # 85 has been serving Scouts for more than sixty years in Williamsville. The troop meets every Monday evening at Williamsville United Methodist Church.

Matthew is the son of Dr. David and Marcia Gunther; Scott is the son of Bill and Pat Perkins; and Rene is the son of Dr. Rene and Pam vanEe. All three scouts are graduates of Williamsville South High School.
