Flyers edge Gray Sabres, 2-0 at Pepsi Center

The Squirt Flyers had their first shutout of the season in Saturday’s 2-0 win over the Gray Sabres.

The action was in the first period when Gregory Sibick launched a high-flying puck between the pipes for the Flyers’ first goal. Nicholas Schiappa scored a key rebound shot at the end of the first period for his team’s second goal.

Austin Gallagher and James Mueller assisted on Schiappa’s goal.

The second and third periods had a lot of aggressive plays from both teams.

Flyers’ goalie, Byran Cowing and Gray Sabres’ goalie, Joe Burke made outstanding saves.
